You're growing so rapidly. You've, more then ever, been studying my face. Yesterday morning when it was time for your breakfast you were crying, Daddy handed you to me and you calmed down and just stared at me. I couldn't get you to eat because all you wanted to do was gaze. It really warmed my heart, and I was trying to imagine what you must be thinking. I wondered if it's things like; "So, this is the person that keeps me alive, her face is finally in focus." As you wonder if you really want a mommy that looks like this. :)
Also, the amount of time that you are now holding up your head is remarkable. You're a strong, wiggly, little boy. :)
I'm a proud Mama!

1 Month Old Today
Just at one month you have made so many little changes.
It's amazing to watch you grow.
I so grateful to be a part of your life!
At one month...
You stay awake for a little bit longer when you eat and in between your meals.
I love to watch your gazes and often wonder what you are pondering
as your eyes dart from place to place.
Your neck is getting stronger, I love to see you hold up your sweet little head.
You're gaining weight, and were 7 pounds 4 oz as of your 3 week checkup! We're so proud!
You've gotten the 'cry of death' down and use it to your advantage.
Mostly when it's time for me to sleep.
But that's okay.
I let you win and go sleep on the couch so I can hold you while I
try and get some z's.
That makes life more happy for the both of us.
You are sweet and precious and I adore you!

Sweet Cambria
Cambria doting on her baby brother.
(I love all of the bling that is being sported here.)
(and Cambria's big smile!)
"Oh really", I say. "What was it?"
"A baby! A real baby!"
I love her! Cambria is just so awesome!

Made with Love
I love hand-crafted, especially-for-you, made with love and care gifts. In my book, there is nothing quite as nice. It just makes the gift so wonderful!
Bradley is one luckily guy, he was showered with such hand-made gifts; they are so wonderful!
Bradley is one luckily guy, he was showered with such hand-made gifts; they are so wonderful!
My sister, Esther, went all out and made a lot of wonderful things for Bradley. She made a car seat cover (that I love, love, love) several hats, cute mittens and a swaddling blanket wrap.
I love this wrap. It keeps Bradley's arms nice and tight. I like to tie up his arms so his hands are sticking out the top so he can suck on them if he needs too.
I love Bradley's grin here which appears to be a little drooly.
The mittens are great, I love that they not only prevent him from scratching his face but also keep his hands warm in a stylish way.
My friend Christin made me these two beautiful hats. I was so happy when she brought them over!
Bradley is in-between hats at this point (the ones my sister made were too small or too big) so when Christin brought this to my door I was so thrilled! The one Bradley is wearing fits so nicely and looks awesome! The green one is a size bigger so he can grow into it. I love them! They are so cute and soft and make Bradley look extra adorable!
My dear friend Jaclyn make this wonderful quilt for Bradley. She put a lot of time, money and effort into making it. It meant so much to me, and needless to say I just love it! It's a nice heavy and warm blanket Bradley and it goes everywhere with him.
My dear sweet friend Susan sent Bradley this cute, warm blanket in the mail. I love it! I love the colors and the softness. It's wonderful! So perfect for swaddling up Bradley so nice and snug. I love the little lace that she put on the edges. It's beautiful! Susan always makes my children sweet baby blankets.
Thank you, Ladies, for sharing your talents with Bradley! It's so generous of you and it means so much to me!

What I love about you!
Bradley is wearing a 3 to 6 months outfit, that's why
he is swimming in it.
Your deep reddish hair. I love to twist your sweet soft locks between my fingers as I watch you nurse.
I love your small button nose and little dark eyes. I can't wait to find out what color they will be. You open them more and more and I just love when I catch your gaze.
I love to hold you so close to me, to feel your small frail body against mine. I sense your greatness. You are special.
I love the sweet sounds that slip from your lips. From the little grunts and coos right down to your impressive cry. I'm proud of your loud cry. I was a little worried on the first day when I met you, you had the teeniest, tiniest cry I have ever heard come from an infant. I was certain something was wrong and kept asking your Daddy if you were all right. Because one thing is for sure, Cann Babies come out of the womb knowing how to cry big.
I love how you are fighting your jaundice off so well. We watch you daily and pray that the jaundice will soon completely leave your body.
I love that you eat so well. You were an eating pro from the beginning. Not one problem--not even once--when coming to get food into your belly.
I love how fast you are able to comfort yourself. You never carry on once you are picked up. You almost stop crying instantly. Nor do you cry that much at all. So far you have proved to be a calm baby.
We love you Bradley! We are grateful for your life!
